Privacy Policy

Hotfix is a private automation tool operated by a single individual for their own social media accounts. It has no other users, offers no service to the public, and collects no information from anyone.

Information accessed

When the operator connects their Google Account, Hotfix is granted access to:

• Google Sheets — one spreadsheet, owned by the operator, holding the queue of planned posts: a row identifier, a text prompt, a caption, hashtags, a status, and the identifiers of posts already published.
• Google Drive — the folders, owned by the operator, holding the video files to be published and the archive of files already published.

Hotfix reads no other spreadsheet, document, file or folder.

How it is used

Content is read in order to publish it to the operator's own accounts on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, and the resulting post identifiers and timestamps are written back to the same spreadsheet so the same video is never published twice.

What is not done

• No data is sold, rented, shared or transferred to any third party.
• No data is used for advertising, profiling, training a model, or analytics.
• No data is accessed by any person other than the operator.
• No information is collected from visitors to this website. It serves static pages, sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Storage and retention

Google access tokens are stored encrypted on the operator's own private server and are used only to make the calls described above. Video files and queue rows remain in the operator's own Google account throughout; Hotfix keeps no separate copy beyond what is needed to complete a publication, and operational records hold identifiers and timestamps only.

Revoking access

The operator can revoke Hotfix's access to their Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately and permanently ends all access described here.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Hotfix's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
